The dead wood is climbing
At the top of the tower burns the Heart, the buried ember that keeps the valley's dead asleep. Twig sprites, grave gnomes, briar elves and worse are climbing toward it. You are the last Warden, and your only weapon is the wall itself.
Blocks fall in real time around a tower you turn beneath them. Fill a whole ring and it shatters, sending a blast up the tower that strikes every creature above it. Clear two rings at once or set off a chain and the blast hits harder. Stack too high and the tower cracks.
